Announcement: Launch of Online Tibetan Language, Buddhism, and Culture Classes

To all those interested in the precious Tibetan language, culture, and Buddhist philosophy:

Lha Tibetan Heritage Society is a registered non-profit and charitable organization in Canada. Our mission is to preserve and promote the Tibetan language, Buddhism, and culture through educational and social programs.

With modern online tools, we’re pleased to announce that starting August 1, 2026 (Saturday), we will offer Online Tibetan Language, Culture, and Buddhist Classes for adults and young people. This is for those who haven’t been able to join existing classes because of time zone differences across North America. We encourage everyone to take this opportunity to preserve our cultural heritage through learning and active practice.

This program is open to residents of Canada and North America whose schedules match our class times. Applicants must have basic Tibetan reading and writing skills. At least 10 students are required to start the class.

Our Responsibility: Studying and promoting the Tibetan language and culture is a shared duty, as they are the lifeblood of our identity. This is especially vital for today’s adults. By joining these classes, we help ensure future generations grow up fluent in their language.
